Meet Your Coach
Ibrahim — Founder & Level 3 Personal Trainer
I’m Ibrahim, founder of Regimen Coaching and a Level 3 Personal Trainer, specialising in fat loss, strength training, muscle building, nutrition and fitness coaching for Muslim men.
I spent 10 years playing competitive basketball at England National League level. Training, performance and discipline were a major part of my life until injuries, a serious bike accident and having my gallbladder removed in 2017 changed everything.
With training disrupted, my fitness declined and I gained a significant amount of body fat. I no longer felt strong, athletic or healthy, and I knew I had to take control of my health again.
So I went back to what I knew structured strength training, nutrition, recovery and disciplined habits while continuing to develop my knowledge of fat loss, body composition, muscle building, exercise science and behaviour change.
Over the years, I’ve invested hundreds of hours in continued learning, studying training, nutrition, fat loss, recovery and human performance, while putting that knowledge into practice.
Fitness became important to me again, but I also realised something:
Results don’t come from constantly searching for a new plan. They come from having the right system and consistently executing it.
COACHING EXPERTISE
QUALIFIED. CONTINUALLY LEARNING. PRACTICAL.
I’m a Level 3 Personal Trainer, with focused study across the principles of:
- Fat loss & body transformation
- Nutrition & nutritional strategy
- Strength training & muscle building
- Body composition
- Training progression
- Recovery
- Discipline, mindset & behaviour change
My education doesn’t stop at a qualification.
Over the years, I’ve invested hundreds of hours in continued learning studying books, lectures, podcasts, research and educational material from leading voices across exercise science, nutrition, strength training, fat loss and human performance.
This includes learning from and following the work of specialists such as Dr Andrew Huberman, Dr Layne Norton, Dr Sten Ekberg, Sebastian Oreb, Dan Go, Jeff Cavaliere, Sal Di Stefano, Adam Schafer and Justin Andrews, alongside continued independent study.
The goal isn’t to collect information.
It’s to understand the principles behind effective training, nutrition and behaviour change, then turn that knowledge into practical coaching that a real man can follow.
FAITH, LEADERSHIP & COACHING
Alongside my work as a fitness coach, I currently serve as an Imam and am studying a Master’s degree in Qur’an Sciences and Tafsir.
That part of my life influences how I approach coaching.
Regimen isn’t about chasing a perfect physique at the expense of everything else. It’s about helping Muslim men take greater responsibility for their health, strength, discipline and daily habits so they can show up better in the roles and responsibilities that matter.
Fitness is the vehicle.
Discipline is the foundation.
My Why
In Islam, your body isn’t fully yours. It’s an amanah a trust from Allah, one you’ll be asked about. Not just how you prayed or how you spoke, but how you carried the body He gave you. Did you strengthen it, or let it waste away? Did you take care of it, or take it for granted?
I have had challenges with my health several times. Injuries, a bike accident, a gallbladder removed and for a while, I let that trust slip through my fingers. I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and not recognize the man staring back. That experience is why I became a fitness coach for Muslim men I’m not letting that happen to another brother if I can help it.
Regimen Coaching isn’t a side project. It’s a mission to help Muslim men honor that amanah properly through faith-based fitness coaching. Strong in the gym. Disciplined in their deen. Consistent everywhere in between. Not choosing between faith and fitness, because you were never meant to choose. Taking care of your body is taking care of your amanah.
This is bigger than aesthetics. Bigger than a program. It’s about becoming the kind of man who takes his responsibilities seriously every single one of them, including the one he carries in his own skin.
We don’t rise alone. We rise together.
